An opportunity to rest, reconnect, & renew our sense of purpose. Join fellow Kansas forensic nurses for a two-day restorative retreat designed to nourish the mind, body, & spirit. We recognize the intensity of our work — its emotional demands, its complexity, & its impact. This retreat offers time & space to step away & return to the heart of why we do this work.
You give so much. This time is for you. Whether you're looking to reconnect with your purpose, process the impact of your work, or simply rest — this retreat is a space to be held, supported, and restored.
On Tuesday, Melissa Perry, MA, LPC, LCPC, a familiar face to the IAFN KS Chapter and founder of Yoga Soul Counseling, will guide us through a two-part session on compassion fatigue, healing-centered engagement, and strategies for staying grounded in our work. Her sessions blend didactic insight, somatic awareness, and opportunities for self-reflection.
On Tuesday evening and Wednesday, there will be opportunities for relaxation, connection and to recharge. Tailor your own path through a variety of engaging, hands-on and immersive experiences. The beautiful property features luxurious indoor amenities and outdoor spaces including a hot tub, fire pit, walking trails, a pond and butterfly sanctuary.
