DESCRIPTION:

Do you ever feel anxious or overwhelmed when working with survivors of intimate partner violence (IPV), sexual violence, or adverse childhood experiences (ACEs)?

This session seeks to calm those feelings in two ways—providing you with new tools for much more effective ways to initiate conversations with your clients—and equally important—providing approaches for taking care of ourselves and supporting our colleagues and staff as we do this important and difficult work.
