  • Describe how privacy and confidentiality support trauma-informed practices and survivor autonomy.
  • Compare and contrast VAWA confidentiality for community-based advocates and medical privacy and confidentiality for Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANEs).
  • Use effective techniques for communication with survivors and each other about how survivor information gets managed.
