AUDIENCE: This training is intended for Healthcare Professionals (APRN, RN, LPN), SANEs, Physicians, Physician Assistants, Law Enforcement, Prosecutors, Victim Advocates, Mental Health Professionals, and other professionals who work with victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence. 
Course Description:
Join KCSDV and The Confidentiality Institute in partnership with GBV Consulting for an interactive training that will support Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANEs) and Community-Based Advocates (CBAs) in understanding and implementing trauma-informed approaches to manage survivor information, in the context of forensic examinations. This training will include an overview and application of SANE and CBA confidentiality and privacy rules in the context of forensic work.
